I’m so excited for this years evangelist campaign in the Philippines! Even though it’s only for one week Im going to make the best of it!

Wow….very challenging…

“The critical question for our generation – and for every generation – is this: If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and with all the friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with heaven, if Christ was not there?

2010: A Year of Seeing the Lord Work

2010 has been the most memorable year of my life. In February, my youth group had a winter retreat. The worked greatly in that weekend. My friend Stephon had a great testimony of how the Lord worked in his life. In March my Church had the Galkin Evangelistic Team for revival meetings. Their awesome music, and great preaching spoke to me greatly. Will Galkin’s message on the Psalms of David where David exclaims that he has quickened him really spoke to me. The concert on Thursday night of that week was awesome. They have been blessed with great talents to worship and serve our Lord.

The Summer of 2010 was the best summer of my life. I started off by going to the Wilds Christian Camp for CIT. There, i met some great friends, and the Lord worked greatly. The main thing was leadership, and how I must take leadership in my school and Youth Group. I got home after 2 great weeks of camp, and then 4 days later i left for the Philippines to help out with evangelistic campaign led my SMCI director Mike Redick. Those 2 weeks were one of the most life-changing weeks of my entire life. I have never seen God work so much before. Thousands of kids were saved in just the two weeks I was there in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. (See “My Personal Testimony from my Time in the Philippines” earlier in my blog)

Then in October Pastor Mike and Mrs. Redick came to our Church for our Mission Conference entitled “The Unwasted Life.” The Farmers also came, and it was a great time to see friends from the e-camp again. My favorite part of that was the round table discussion with Pastor Mike and Mrs. Redick. The told awesome stories of God’s work!

2010 was a great year of seeing the Lord at work; i will never forget the memories of this awesome year. I cannot, however, dwell on this year and stay “parked” in the year 2010, because the reality is its 2 days until 2011. Paul writes to the Church at Philippi, that he forgets those things which are behind and presses on to those things which are before. That is the mentality that I want heading into 2011!

There will never be peace in the world until there is peace in nations.
There will never be peace in nations until there is peace in communities.
There will never be peace in communities until there is peace in families.
There will never be peace in families until there is peace in individuals.
And there will never be peace in individuals until we invite the Prince of Peace to reign in our hearts.

How far is the East from the West? One scarred hand to the other! Thank You Lord!

Though I may go through times of grief and pain, I will still praise your Holy name.

“His Blood has washed away my sin, Jesus Thank you
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied, Jesus Thank you
Once your enemy, Now seated at your table, Jesus Thank you”
I was just introduced to this song, “Jesus Thank you,” a couple weeks ago. I think it might be my new favorite, right next to “You are My All in All”
